Robert did not start the day well by spinning on his first lap out in the tight chicane at the end of the lap. "I came up the hill from Musketts' corner and suddenly realised that I was going way too fast to make the hairpin" said Robert. Unfortunately Robert didn't learn from his mistake as he did exactly the same thing the very next lap!

Apart from these early misadventures, the times continued to improve in each of the four practice sessions, with our fastest lap of 41.52 seconds being posted on the third last lap of the day. The kart felt well balanced and grip was good. The only worrying aspect was that the kart again stalled when Robert momentarily locked the brakes going into the final chicane.

Tomorrow's Castrol Cup will be Team Green Racing's first open race meeting and we look forward to taking part in the event.
